“What is the Internationalisation of European Higher Education handbook?” The Handbook Internationalisation of European Higher Education is a loose-leaf edition, combined with and complemented by the website www.handbook-internationalisation.com. The loose-leaf edition consists of a basic edition and regular supplements (hard copy plus CD-ROM), all collected in a ring folder. The loose-leaf edition will be updated through supplements every four months to take stock of recent developments, report on examples of best-practices throughout Europe, and provide hands-on advice designed to facilitate the successful internationalisation of your higher education institution. As a subscriber o fthe handbook you will also have free access to an electronic version of the articles included in the handbook, among other benefits. We believe that the combination of handbook and online-access, enabling you to use the contents from any point in the world, is in and of itself conducive to the process of internationalisation. "What do I have to do to obtain a copy of the handbook?" You can order the handbook via e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or via fax-coupon. The handbook is exclusively available on a subscription basis. Please check the "Prices and Ordering" item for details. In the course of an annual subscription period you will receive the basic edition plus three supplements. You may cancel the subscription by giving notice in writing no later than six weeks before the end of the subscription year. “How do I pay?” Ordered products and invoices will be sent directly to your address. Then you can transfer the money or send a cheque payable to the publishing house of "RAABE Verlag". Please note that we do not accept credit cards or cheques made out to the EUA. “Do we have to buy the supplements?” Yes, subscribers of the first edition automatically aquire the first three quarterly supplements. You may, however, cancel your subscription at any time thereafter. “What are the dates of the subscription year?” The subscription year commences with the date of the first invoice. For example: If you receive the "Handbook Internationalisation" on 1 November 2008 (date of invoice), the subscription year will end on 31 October 2009. “Will the subscription extend beyond 2008, and what will be the price of the subscription in the following years?” Yes, the subscription will extend beyond 2008. You will receive three supplements each year (that is, every four months, adding up to 3 x 67.00 € = 201.00 € + postage and packing charges) – unless you cancel the subscription. “How do we cancel the subscription?” You may cancel the subscription by giving notice in writing no later than six weeks before the end of the subscription year. "How do we get online access?" To access "Internationalisation of European Higher Education" online you must be a subscriber of the handbook. Once the subscription is active and payment has been recieved, we will activate your account as subscriber and send you a link you can use to register. After that you may log in any time. "When will our online access privileges expire?" Since online access is currently available only in combination with the subscription of the handbook (basic folder plus supplements), your online access will expire together with your subscription. "Are EUA or ACA members eligible for a discount?" Yes, EUA or ACA members receive a 10% discount on the annual invoice. In this case you pay only 180.90 € instead of 201.00 € for the quarterly supplements per year. EUA or ACA members also get a 25% discount on the regular price for the first loose-leaf edition. (How do we know whether our institution is an EUA or ACA member?) "Why am I redirected to the front page when clicking on a document title for download?" You must be logged in to download articles. Using the Internet Explorer and clicking on a given download link will redirect you to the front page if you are not logged in.
