Quality management within an international dual degree program alliance – Challenges and solutions
This paper shares practical knowledge on the quality management of a joint study program within an international higher education alliance, namely the International Business School Alliance (IBSA). In this dual degree program, the content of the modules in the first semester is identical at all partner institutions. The authors discuss the challenges of establishing and maintaining common quality standards within the IBSA network and provide solutions. One suggestion to other joint program providers is that management, faculty, and staff members take part in regular personal exchanges to discuss good practices and to jointly develop curricular and organizational improvement processes
