Filling Regional Skills Gaps Ethically

This article explores a model for supporting international students throughout their entire journey, from initial contact in their home countries to successful integration into the local job market after graduation. Through action research, the study evaluates the effectiveness of this support model in improving student retention rates in a rural context while considering ethical issues surrounding international recruitment. The results indicate a wfeedback from stakeholders. An ongoing formal evaluation with students aims to further validate these findings.
