DUZ Academic Publishers decided a few months ago, together with our editors, that our publication Internationalisation of Higher Education – Policy and Practice should be peer-reviewed in the future. To ensure a higher quality of academic content, having articles peer-reviewed before their publication is an important step for academic journals.
The transition has started with the second issue published in June 2020. This means that some of the articles are peer-reviewed, while others are reviewed by our editorial board. The transition to full peer review will be completed by the end of 2020.
We use a platform called Manuscript Manager that helps us to organise and automate the whole process; authors can submit their manuscripts directly on the platform, peer reviewers can then be invited and share their feedback also via Manuscript Manager.
In order to be able to implement this process in the next months, we need your support as authors and/or as peer reviewers.
If you are a practitioner or a policymaker in the field of internationalisation of higher education and/or working on internationalisation processes, you might want to share your research results and/or best practices in our journal. Internationalisation of Higher Education – Policy and Practice covers a broad range of topics such as governance, leadership and management of internationalisation; funding for internationalisation; internationalisation strategies and activities; quality assurance of internationalisation, etc. For more details have a look at the journal’s scope.
